The Sacramento Weavers’ & Spinners’ Guild Open House — featuring

Mature Driver Course - Friday, Feb 10, 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and Saturday,
Feb. 11, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. DMV approved traffic safety class for licensed
drivers 50 years of age and over. The Mature Driver Course is for experienced
drivers to review basic defensive driving skills, to be updated on new laws

looking for opportunity, but equal rights often proved as elusive as gold
nuggets. From runaway slaves to teachers, soldiers and restaurant owners,
to barbers who practiced a little medicine on the side, come celebrate the
stories of Sacramento’s black pioneers at the Historic City Cemetery.
