Health Officials Announce Flu Shot Locations

Health departments for Sacramento, Yolo and Placer counties have announced their schedules for senior influenza vaccinations for 2003.

Throughout the various sites in Sacramento County, flu shots will be $10 and will be provided to seniors age 60 and older, and to those under age 60 who are chronically ill and have a note from a physician. Also in Sacramento County, pneumonia shots will be offered for $20 and tetanus shots for $23.

In Placer County, flu shots are $10 each. In Yolo County, flu shots for seniors are $5, and tetanus shots are $13, and pneumonia shots are not offered at the flu shot clinics.
