Jones has won four tickets
for a one-hour, narrated sightseeing cruise on the Spirit of Sacramento
riverboat. The question was, "How is California state Sen. Sheila Kuehl connected with the movie, 'Gone With the Wind'?" Jones correctly noted that Kuehl, under the name Sheila James, played Zelda in "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis." Warren Beatty also was on the cast. Beatty later did a movie with Vivien Leigh titled "The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone." Leigh starred in "Gone With the Wind." Another link is that Kuehl portrayed Jackie Erwin, daughter of June and Stu Erwin, on "The Stu Erwin Show." June Erwin's brother, game show host Clayton "Bud" Collyer, was Superman on radio. George Reeves was Superman on television. Reeves played Scarlett O'Hara's first husband in "Gone With the Wind." HOME This page and its contents ©2002 Metropolitan News Company, Inc. |
