1. What do you consider the most pressing issue facing California’s senior citizens?
Will taxes go up? Will additional laws force more business out? Will the work of government get done? Those are the most pressing issues.

2. Do you favor or oppose amending the rates of the following taxes:
Property tax
State income tax
Vehicle license fee
Gas tax

All four tax rates are too high, especially for the services you receive in return. None of the tax rates are high enough for those who speak only for the tax consumers.

3. Do you favor or oppose putting new restrictions on older drivers?
When the time comes for someone to stop driving, it's not necessarily a matter of law. It's more a matter of good sense.

4. When putting together the state budget for the next fiscal year, would you change current levels of funding for any of the following programs:
In-Home Supportive Services
Adult Protective Services
SSI/SSP benefits
Foster Grandparents Program
Brown Bag Program
Senior Companion Program
California Commission on Aging

Every California program could be run more sensibly--and that would change its "level of funding."

5. If elected, how will you improve California for seniors and all other residents?
I'd deliver on my promise not to raise taxes, to veto all stupid laws, and I'd work with the Legislature to get a legal budget passed, solve the workers compensation crisis, and then make changes so people think about doing more business in California. I'd hire the best people to fill positions instead of party hacks. I'd be sensible and effective in administering the State.
